America's Best Vintage Shops

Apartment Therapy has compiled a fantastic list of the top vintage shops in America. I had a look through the list, and here are just two of the shops that I'd give an arm and a leg to visit:

Punch Intèrieur, located in sunny Santa Barbara, opened just one year ago, and already it's a go-to spot for the locals. Owned by Sara Gehris, the shop offers an eclectic array of vintage jewelry, clothes, furniture and collectibles. Gehris maintains that anyone who visits her shop will find something they like, as she offers a little bit of everything from various decades, as long as it's "good" style.
Walking through Inheritance, located in Los Angeles, is like wading knee deep in nostalgia. The shop has evolved tremendously over the years, thanks to shop owner Mike Andrews' appreciation for "the craftsmanship of fading arts like silversmithing. Old books. Folk art. Ceramics." With this appreciation for the old, however, comes a love for the new, and Andrews' shop is filled with loads of modern pieces, as well.

Do you ever go vintage shopping? What's the coolest thing you've ever found?

  1. I feel as if every gorgeous vintage shop I go into is insanely overpriced, it really is so depressing. They're nice to go in, but so out of my budget.

  3. I love the vintage-inspired look of RRL though--it may not possess the same aura of a true vintage piece..
