Have an amazing New Year's Eve weekend!

My lovely readers, can you believe that this New Year's Eve marks almost exactly six and one-half months since I started blogging?? I can't! Lovlies, it's been such a glorious year, and I can't thank you all enough for your wonderful comments and unyielding support. So, I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, whether you'll be stepping out in your sparkliest outfit, hosting a festive dinner party, or sharing a New Year's kiss right from your living room!

All the best, dear readers, and see you in 2012!!

Which party dress would you wear on New Year's Eve?

You've just finished slicking on your favorite shimmery eyeshadow and your prettiest mascara. All you have left to do is slip on your dress so you can head out for the evening, and ring in the new year with your closest friends. Which dress do you reach for?

Above, a festive V-neck dress, covered in beads and sequins.
A slinky black-jersey dress with subtle glitter accents.

A long-sleeve silk mini dress in super-bright aqua.

A sophisticated cowl-neck dress in a beautiful deep red.

A hopelessly feminine one-shoulder frock in a lovely light grey
organza.

A classic, off-shoulder bandage dress that totally speaks for itself.

So, which dress would you pick (I'd go for the black glitter midi, the red cowl neck frock or the cream bandage dress)?

Japanese-inspired jewelry

My friend Monica loves Japanese culture, and I immediately thought of her when I came across these pieces from Alice in Japan. She would especially love the earrings, which are crafted from Japanese origami paper.

What culture do you really admire?

Have a joyous weekend!

PHEW!! Exams are over! Yay :) This weekend I'll be rushing out to do the last bit of my holiday shopping. I'll probably drag Al along with me, as I'm sure he hasn't finished his, either. What are you going to be doing this weekend? Buying some adorable red pumps (complete with red bows)? Sauntering through an enchanted garden? Floating away on a giant balloon? Do tell!
