Geo earrings

I came across these geo earrings from a little shop called a merry mishap the other day, and I simply love them. My favorites are this wine-hued pair, which look elegant, but in a modern way.

Golden Rose

I recently discovered this amazing shop, and, I must say, I'm already hooked! I'm a sucker for beautiful jewelry, especially jewelry that's handmade, which is why Golden Rose is right up my ally. Shop owner Natalie comes up with the most beautiful pieces that give off such a warm, beachy feel. I'd have to say my favorite piece is her rose gold hoop earrings (in a stunning satin finish!). Hoops are always so classic and timeless, but the rose gold and satin finish give them a chic and modern twist.

See anything you like?

P.S. I loved her jewelry so much, that I got these beauties for my mom on her birthday!

Hair gun

While searching for a new blow dryer, I came across this nifty contraption. This fully functional, retro 357 Magnum hair dryer was made in 1981 and is by far one of the neatest things I've ever found on the web. You just pull the trigger to adjust the settings and you're good to go!

P.S. It comes with its own 'holster', ha!

Sea salt caramels

Not too long ago I discovered The Caramel Jar, an Etsy shop that specializes in none other than making delicious caramel treats. I decided to try it out after my mom mentioned that she would love to try sea salt caramels. So, I ordered ourselves a pound (yes, one pound!) of the shop's Fleur de Sel Caramels and oh my goodness I'm in love...I finished them off in just three days!

Mmmm...what's your favorite sweet treat?

P.S. Click here to order a sample size of the Fleur de Sel Caramels...you won't be sorry!

Japanese-inspired jewelry

My friend Monica loves Japanese culture, and I immediately thought of her when I came across these pieces from Alice in Japan. She would especially love the earrings, which are crafted from Japanese origami paper.

What culture do you really admire?

A gift for nature lovers

My friend Bindi would love these antler rings. They're made from slices of deer antler, which were shed naturally, of course.

Rain hoods

Perfect for a rainy day such as this. What a neat idea!

P.S. Doesn't the brunette look a bit like Audrey Tautou?

Halos ring

Jewelry designer Zuhal makes some pretty awesome pieces that combine futuristic elements with those of the 60s mod and the 70s disco era . I mean, just look at this ring! Doesn't it look like some sort of trippy mad scientist hat??

Hand-knit wool scarves

I really need to buy some new scarves, and these GORGEOUS pieces from Remember a Day would be just perfect. Shop owner Jenny makes such lush and beautifully hued cowls, plus you can easily pull one up and wear it as a hood! How chic would you look peeking out from behind one of these?

I need one ASAP.

Vintage eyeglasses

Check out these AWESOME vintage eyeglasses, straight from the 60s! My mom had a pair quite similar to these when she was younger, and I wish she had kept them. I'd wear them all the time! Just for the heck of it :).

P.S. How gorgeous are the model's freckles?
