A tip for breaking in heels

This one is for all of us ladies with feet that are just a little bit wider than normal. The next time you buy a pair of gorgeous pumps that are pinching your feet in certain areas, place some moleskin on those areas of the feet. With the moleskin still on, soak your feet. This will cause the moleskin will expand. Dry your feet off, but keep the moleskin damp, and slip your pumps on. Wear them around for the rest of the day, and by the time you take them off, the too-tight areas will be stretched to your comfort!

  1. Great idea! I always wear mine around the house before I ever wear them out.

  5. That's awesome! I have wide, flat, fickle feet, which is a SHAME because I adore heels. When I find a nice pair that's comfy and doesn't ruin my feet, it's a beautiful day.

I've missed your blog! I've been on a Uni&work-induced hiatus.

  6. I'm not a fashionista (though I love great style) and came across your blog* doing research for a novel I'm writing. It's set in the late 1930s and I was looking for the kind of high heels my character might wear. I'm impressed by your blog and I'm pleased to read you'd been nominated for a Liebster Blog Award!

    *"Modern 30s shoes" . . . such fab shoes!
