While searching for a new blow dryer, I came across this nifty contraption. This fully functional, retro 357 Magnum hair dryer was made in 1981 and is by far one of the neatest things I've ever found on the web. You just pull the trigger to adjust the settings and you're good to go!

P.S. It comes with its own 'holster', ha!

The perfect long-sleeve dress

I really love this Bailey 44 dress from Anthropologie. It's a spin-off of this boatneck midi dress, which Anthro's loyal customers quickly flocked to as soon as it hit the racks. Although both versions are absolutely lovely and totally versatile, I love the newer frock's shorter hem and longer sleeves just a little bit more.

Lacrosse tryouts start on Monday, and I'm in serious need of some new running shoes. I've been having to use Mom's as of late because mine are so tattered and worn out...urgh. Also, I'll be buying a new blow dryer and flat iron this weekend, because my current blow dryer is literally falling apart and my flat iron hardly heats up! Gah! What are you doing this weekend? What's your 'uniform'?

At my school, we wear uniforms, which I quite like, actually, as I don't have to worry about picking out something new to wear every day. Plus, since our uniforms are so basic, I get to have fun with cool earrings and hairstyles! Do you have a sort of style 'template' that you follow every morning? Or does it really just depend on your mood?

Beauty tip: Rosemary oil

I started growing my hair out two summers ago, and one product that's definitely helped me do that is rosemary essential oil. Not only does it smell beautiful, but it also helps stimulate hair growth, soothes a dry or itchy scalp and slows down premature hair loss and grey hair. I put a few drops in just about everything I use, and it seems to work like a charm!

Weekdays go by so slowly, but the weekends seem to speed on by...why is that? I think I've been staying up a bit too late these past few weekends, so maybe I'll take advantage of this weekend and actually get myself to bed at a reasonable hour. What are you doing this weekend? Tiered column corset gown

I've been admiring this gown from BHLDN for a while now...isn't it lovely?? The slim column skirt is complimented wonderfully by the rows upon rows of fluttery silk chiffon. Wouldn't this be perfect for a peaceful garden wedding, where you'd be surrounded by calming lavender plants and your closest friends and family?

Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara

I don't wear makeup, but I love watching YouTube gurus, reading make-up blogs and figuring out what products I like and don't like. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to try out Clinique's High Impact Curling Mascara (after reading tons of mixed reviews), just for the heck of it, and I just have to tell you guys about it!

Tangerine

Orange is a color that most people tend to shy away from, but ever since designers such as Jenny Packham and Sophie Theallet graced the Spring/Summer 2012 runways with their tangerine-hued garments, everyone seems to be hooked! There are so many variations of the color tangerine, that it can be flattering on virtually anyone. Plus, it's bright, cheerful, and looks great with aqua, teal and turquoise!

Sea salt caramels

Not too long ago I discovered The Caramel Jar, an Etsy shop that specializes in none other than making delicious caramel treats. I decided to try it out after my mom mentioned that she would love to try sea salt caramels. So, I ordered ourselves a pound (yes, one pound!) of the shop's Fleur de Sel Caramels and oh my goodness I'm in love...I finished them off in just three days!

Colored engagement rings

Oh my goodness...how gorgeous are these?? Typically, women are proposed to with a white diamond ring, but how would you like to be offered one of these beauties? I'll admit, I still have my heart set on a beautiful yellow diamond, but any one of these rings (especially that amethyst stunner...gee whiz!) would still be quite spectacular.
