Have an excellent weekend

Yay! We finally got some rain this week! We've been needing it desperately. But, along with the rain, it's been suddenly quite chilly. Tonight is my school's second home football game, so I'll been sure to stay warm in some leather boots and my favorite knit sweater. What's in store for you this weekend? Making paper birds? Not making your bed? Braiding your hair? Do tell!

What would you wear to New York Fashion Week?

By some miracle, you've been invited to Day Two of NYFW! You

know you'll be up all day, taking in twelve hours of delicious

fashion-y goodness. What on earth will you wear?

A black power blazer, along with some seriously skinny jeans and

a white tank.

A hi-low hem maxi skirt, to be paired with a gorgeously

embroidered cropped cardigan.

A drape front mini skirt that you'll toughen up with a black

motorcycle jacket.

A modern shift dress in a bright color that will greatly contrast

against the inevitable sea of black that defines New York City.

It's no secret that Anthropologie is my absolute favorite store of ALL TIME!

My mom and I always seem to find some awesome stuff, and we never buy anything unless it's on sale. But tell me, what's your favorite place to shop? J.Crew? H&M? Topshop? Thrift stores?

Pearls and disks

I don't know what it is, but something about these pieces reminds me so much of the beach. Maybe it's the fresh water pearls, or the fact that the tiny silver disks remind me of seashells. Either way, they're lovely, don't you think?
